Dancing in her best dresses, fearless, a TikTok performer recreates the whole Eras Tour

Taylor Swift may be on a break from the international leg of her “Eras Tour” until February, but fans can tune into TikTok live to watch Emily Seabaugh recreate the three-and-a-half-hour show inside a Dallas apartment.
“I’m the first to say, ‘I don’t sing.’ I’m just doing this for fun,” she said on a FaceTime call in a purple "Speak Now" cardigan. “It’s just me pretending and having a good time.”
The idea came from a dinner with friends in August. Seabaugh thought she could recreate the tour with costume changes and use a television to display background video animations she found on YouTube.
“It was spur of the moment,” she said laughing. “We went to my house and threw it together in like 30 minutes. And people just seemed to love it."
The theatrical performer has sang and strummed her way through the tour a dozen plus times. She uses a broom as a guitar for songs like “Long Live” and “Betty.” She places a hat during “22” next to her phone making her thousands of viewers feel like they’re the recipients. She crawls across a table during “Tolerate It.” She does two different surprise acoustic songs. And she uses a blanket to dramatically punctuate the “My Tears Ricochet” line “I can go anywhere I want. Anywhere I want, just not home.” If you don’t know any of these references, consult the nearest Swiftie in your life.

Seabaugh's show has evolved from a television screen to projected animations splashed on her dining room wall. She has seen the show seven times in-person, five in Texas and two in California.
“It felt like a Taylor Swift Convention,” she said. “It just felt like every single one of my close, Swiftie friends was there and we got to have this moment together.”
